Volunteers
Thanks to so many of you for volunteering your time, energy and ideas to improving Clockwork. Here are some suggestions for ways you can improve the framework:
- Test how easy it is to setup and run the Clockwork Sample Website. Download the release code and Getting Started Guide, follow the instructions to run the website from your Visual Studio, and report back to us with any bugs or errors you find.
- Suggest Improvements: You can suggest improvements and ideas on our UserVoice forums. Just click the "Feedback" tab on this website or head to the Feedback forums directly.
- Vote on existing suggestions: You can also view the existing suggestions, discuss and vote on them.
- Volunteer for one of our projects. There is a complete list of Volunteer Projects on our help discussion boards
- Submit a patch. If you make bug fixes or feature enhancements to Clockwork Web Framework, you should submit them to us for inclusion in the framework. Over time, this will help the framework improve and become more useful to everyone, including you. It also means you don’t have to go to the trouble or expense of maintaining your own version of the framework!
A patch is simply a Subversion file that tells us what lines of code you changed, and in which source files. It can be created in a variety of ways. For instructions on how to create a patch using TortoiseSVN, and what that patch should contain, please view Creating and sending a patch for Castle Project. Upload the patch here.
